Meet Engdawork Feleke
Digital Media & Strategic Communication Professional
I’m Engdawork Feleke, a digital media and strategic communication professional with experience spanning digital content, web design, marketing, education, and media leadership. My background combines creative communication with practical digital skills, allowing me to approach projects with both strategic thinking and hands-on execution.
My Journey
My professional journey began in Ethiopia, where I spent more than 14 years in journalism and communication education, academic leadership, research, curriculum development, media initiatives, and community engagement. These experiences built a strong foundation in communication, storytelling, leadership, and strategic thinking.
In 2023, I participated in the Edward R. Murrow Program for Journalists – Research and Investigation, sponsored by the U.S. Department of State. After relocating to Canada, I expanded my career into digital media, web design, digital marketing, SEO, content creation, and technology support.
Through Canadian education, internships, and a growth marketing apprenticeship, I strengthened my practical digital skills. Today, I combine my communication background with Canadian digital experience to create audience-focused solutions across media, web, content, and strategic communication.
What I Do Now
Today, I work across IT support, SEO, digital media, and strategic communication. In my current role with Workow Inc., I provide technology and audiovisual support while contributing to SEO audits, website performance analysis, and digital optimization.
Alongside my current role, I continue developing projects in web design, digital content, social media, graphic design, video, audio, and digital marketing. My Canadian experience also includes internships and apprenticeships in content creation, branding, marketing, and digital strategy.
My work brings together communication, creativity, and technology to solve practical digital challenges.
