My role involved critically evaluating proposed research and providing academic assessment to support research development and quality assurance.

Reviewed a research proposal examining COVID-19 promotional messages through semiotic critical discourse analysis. Wollo University formally recognized my contribution to reviewing the proposal in August 2020.

Error Analysis of Billboard Advertisements Writing Errors in Afan Oromo in Oromo Nationality Zone in Amhara Region, Ethiopia — 2020

Reviewed a research proposal examining writing errors in Afan Oromo billboard advertisements in the Oromo Nationality Zone of Ethiopia’s Amhara Region.

Research-Based Documentary Film Project on Conflict Resolution and Reconciliation Mechanism in Wollo Abbegar — 2021

Reviewed a research-based documentary film project addressing conflict resolution and reconciliation mechanisms in Wollo Abbegar. The certificate identifies your contribution as a reviewer and dates the recognition to September 2021.

My Contribution

Through these assignments, I contributed academic and communication expertise to the evaluation of research proposals and applied research projects.

The work required critical reading, assessment of research ideas and approaches, interdisciplinary analysis, academic judgment, and constructive evaluation.

Outcome

My reviews contributed to Wollo University’s research evaluation and quality-assurance activities across multiple academic projects. The university formally recognized these contributions through Certificates of Appreciation for my work as a research proposal and project reviewer.
